The high-resolution 1 / 2.9-type Exmor® CMOS sensor captures smooth, vivid Full HD video footage (up to 1920 x 1080) at 60 frames per second for a clear view of instant events. Its class-leading sensitivity delivers high image quality even in low-light situations, such as in dimly lit parking lots.

Sony's powerful IPELA ENGINE EX processing platform combines various technologies to optimize Full HD image quality. The View-DR combines images taken at different shutter speeds and provides a wide dynamic range of up to 90 dB for excellent performance in high contrast, backlit environments. Visibility Enhancer (VE) dynamically optimizes brightness and color tone pixel by pixel, while XDNR (eXcellent Dynamic Noise Reduction) minimizes noise and motion blur in low light.

The built-in infrared illuminator displays vivid, monochrome images of anything within 30 meters of the camera in pitch darkness. The additional white LED illuminator, which can be triggered by motion, provides a powerful deterrent to intruders while capturing color images.

Advanced IR accurately reproduces even objects close to the camera, where the details are whitened and impossible to see clearly with traditional IR cameras, without over-exposure.

The SNC-VB632D bullet-style camera is ideal for monitoring city centers, transport systems and gas stations throughout the day. The Dual Light system's infrared illuminator provides two-way night-time viewing, providing crisp, clear images in pitch darkness. The powerful white LED illuminator, triggered by motion, provides the ability to accurately identify the approaching person or vehicle license plate with Full HD color images. The LED illuminator, which acts as a powerful warning to intruders, illuminates the environment as soon as the camera detects motion and provides identification up to 5 meters. Together with the smooth 60 fps frame rate, built-in image stabilizer and Sony's extensive dynamic View-DR technology, which provides equal exposure in bright and dark areas of the environment, this camera delivers the best possible image and maximizes the chance of object identification.
