While the Q series camera offers 2 megapixel resolution, it also provides defocus detection, direction detection, motion detection, entering and exiting the area, tampering detection, virtual line video analytics. Wisestream II compression support, Wisenet open platform support, EAP-TLS for 802.1X authorization, EAP-LEAP support, ONVIF S/G/T profiles are among the other features of the camera.

Other functional features of the camera are H.265/H.264 and MJPEG encodings, built-in infrared illumination, Micro SD memory card slot supported up to 128GB, PoE and 12VDC dual power input.
